IAW Homes was founded in 2017 by Youngjoon Kim — after a decade spent as a Lead Builder at Mattamy Homes, where he personally oversaw the construction and closing of nearly 1,000 homes across the GTA. That experience gave him a rare, ground-level understanding of what it truly takes to build a quality home.
With an HCRA builder licence and a registered Ontario realtor designation with Century 21 New Concept, Youngjoon bridges two worlds that rarely come together under one roof. Whether you're building from scratch, renovating, or buying and selling property in the GTA, you get a partner who understands every stage of the process.

Education
B.A. Architectural Studies, U of T · Construction Engineering Technician, George Brown
Youngjoon spent a decade as a Lead Builder at Mattamy Homes, personally overseeing the construction and closing of nearly 1,000 homes across Milton and Oakville — including a record-setting fiscal year in 2012 for the highest volume of homes closed by a single Site Superintendent in Mattamy history.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architectural Studies and Economics from the University of Toronto and a Construction Engineering Technician diploma from George Brown College. That foundation — combined with hands-on site experience from excavation to PDI — gives him an unmatched ability to assess a property's true potential, manage complex builds, and guide clients through every decision with clarity and confidence.
Since founding IAW Homes in 2017 and joining Century 21 New Concept as a registered realtor, Youngjoon has brought that same builder's discipline to every renovation, addition, and real estate transaction he takes on in the GTA.
